Content Manager - Assetto Corsa Controls - PATCH missing & no wipers

Hey guys,

Seems my pc has had a day off. After the last update I have lost the PATCH control section (just shows "here you can set extra input bindings for Custom Shader patch" but no icons/boxes etc)

Also, I appear to have no wipers on any car, I can hear the rain, see it on the windscreen but wipers have gone, although the wiper noise is present.

Any ideas?

G29 + LUT + FFBClip - Bad control/feeling

Hm..Not sure what Im doing wrong here, since Ive followed the book.

Tested with wheelcheck (value 100). Exported to LUT as you should do

Using FFBClip in "automode" running in background. The wheel feels sloppy and, well..theres no feeling to it.

Do I need FFBClip at all with this wheel? Shoulld i continue to use the LUT i have made , or not?

Need advice, thanks.

Insufficient priviledges to post a mod ?

Hello there,

In preparison to release BMW tonight, I wanted to start preping the forum post, but I seem to not be able to create it ?
I heard there were some issues with people trying to post stolen / ripped mods, so priviledges were changed, so that everything needs to be approved by Mod,

but I seem to be unable to post anything

how does this work now? do I have to write to mods first??

Cannot save controls settings in Content Manager

I recently had to delete my Documents\Assetto Corsa folder, after some issues with my steering/FFB. It solved the problem, and it regenerates automatically anyway, but when after re-assigning my controls I tried to save my settings, I keep getting the following message:

"Please, choose a file in initial directory (“cfg\controllers\savedsetups”) or some subdirectory."

I've had this problem for a few days now. Can anyone help?

CM&Custom Shaders - Mirrors dark & replay is at night?

Despite daytime race, replay is at night. Also mirrors and shift-lights are dark.

I'm hoping someone on here can help me remember what setting to adjust in CM to clear the above issue. I did it once before and since a format and reinstall I cannot remember and cant find anything on the web. I know it was some slider somewhere dammitt

Hello RD!

I started my AC journey a week and a half ago and since then I've been relentlessly attacking the IDAS8 Akina in my Swift Sport

I know, it sucks as a car on circuit, but its perfect for downhills.

The maximum I have gone is 5:10 on Akina with the sport, and I wanted to tune the car more.

The first thing I did was to change the gear ratios with that from Monster Sport: https://www.monster-sport.com/e/parts/powertrain/closegear/

and the ratios look like this...

Here is one of the best laps I ever done on SPA with the Ferrari 458 GT2:


I know there is room for better, i have seen some doing 2:17 ... And here comes my question: is anyone able to correct me? I am playing for over 2-3 weeks now the same track / car and cannot seem to manage any better.

Some of the car setup is from a forum, i will attach some screenshots with it.

Sorry to post here, but the nkpro thread has long been inactive and I figured this is the closest game with probably the same set of fans. I started playing my old netkar pro again, but wanted to use new skins. I found links here to "classical F1 skins" for KS2, FTarget and F2000, but all the links are now dead. Would anyone still happen to have active mediafire links? Thank you.

I do have Assetto Corsa also, but I wish to revisit netKar PRO offline.

Showroom Oddity

Has anyone run into this with the showroom? I use it through Content Manager. It's only these two cars. When I click on the CM Showroom button they show on the ground as normal. Not really affecting anything, just wondering if it's a known issue with an fix others may know about.

Just revisited assetto corsa after years on iracing. It's really come on and I'm loving it. I bought the rss 2020 f1 car and absolutely love it.

Does anyone please know of any championships for this mod?

Preferably Albert park, Adelaide GP, Sandown raceway, Phillip island circuit, Bathurst and The bend Motorsport park. Sorry if it is a big ask also tracks not on the list are welcome and some V8 Supercars and F1’s to go with it thanks

Hi there,

Trying to setup a dedicated server locally on a PC for a session with friends.
Server manager app has been set up, ports also, firewall, anti-virus too. Response from AC Master server - OK.

Main problem - http://prntscr.com/i3gffc
"Can’t load any information: server did not respond in given time."

What might be wrong?

acserver.exe dialog:
Server CFG Path : cfg/server_cfg.ini
Entry List Path : cfg/entry_list.ini
Assetto Corsa Dedicated Server...

Server only shows up under LAN and not public

Hi, trying to create a private server to race with a few friends. I followed the guides and added the 9600 UDP/TCP and 8081 HTTP ports to my router settings and set up the server from within Content Manager. I have the "make server public (show on lobby" checked but when I go to run the server, it only shows up under LAN and not KUNOS (public). How do I fix this?

Is there lightning in Sol? or a tweak i might be missing in CM to enable it?

Im enjoying the rain, and if you set track temp right down and grip it kinda sorta coulda feel legit ;)
SOme lightning would really add to the feel! Day and night.

Night (thunderstorm, didnt see lighning)

Some Skins have no preview InGame .. why?

Hi there.
I have the Problem that some Skins of some Cars have no preview when im in Assetto Corsa.
I've cleared the Cache allready and Update all the previews with Content Manager.
But this doenst help to fix the Problem.
Curious is that some Skinpreviews of the same Car are working fine and other of the same Car not.
Can there be something wrong in the ui file or something else? Skin Name too long?
Its only the Preview .... on Track the Skin load and is visible on the Car.
Hope someone can...

Some Skins have no preview InGame .. why?
