Best open road tracks

Until now I have been playing Nordschleife (practice mode) 90% of the time when I load Assetto Corsa. I don't like those moderd wide F1 tracks, which may be good for racing, but not for fun and for sense of speed. I said "until now" because recently I've found out two tracks which are amazing in everything and are even better to enjoy driving in open roads than Nords itself. These tracks are Deutschlandring and Fonteny. Both look amazing, beautiful, focused on the countryside, full of trees...

Hi all, my first post here and I have what I guess is an unusual question so please go easy on me and excuse the rather long post :)


Its been a while since I raced and my son has pulled out my old G27 and got me interested again. We are both going to do some Assetto Corsa racing here with you guys. Really looking forward to it.
We will both be racing using the same PC and I want to make sure that we keep our racing profiles seperate.

In-car brake bias adjustment increments

Is there any way to change the brake bias adjustment in-car so that it goes up by full percentages instead of half? In the setup screen you can only adjust by full % but in-car you're able to go up by half percentages (e.g. 65% --> 65.5% --> 66%). Is there any way to modify this so that every click up goes up by 1%?

This Tutorial was originally posted over on the simracingsystem.com forums where I do all of my skinning. I was constructing it AS I was learning the process, so obviously some of this is going to be "not the best way" to do certain things. Server Manager docker error on installation

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.
Every time I issue 'docker-compose up' it gives this error:

server-manager_1 | The error occurred attempting to: Read configuration file (config.yml)
server-manager_1 | The error more specifically is: yaml: input error: read config.yml: is a directory

the config.yml is in /home/assetto/server-manager
When I list the assetto folder after the error a folder 'config.yml' has been created.
I have removed the assetto folder completely and recreated it...

Occasional stutters in AC - only recently

Hi
I've noticed over the last couple of weeks, more or less, that AC is stuttering a bit. It may only happen 3 to 5 times, say, in an 8- or 9-lap race but it's new (and it's bloody annoying when it happens).

I wondered if it was the latest version of Sol and/CSP so I rolled them both back to previous versions and the stuttering seems to still be happening. My framerate is still very good: 80 to 100fps.

I'm thinking I should check the CPU are running at OK temps - I've checked this a bit...

AC doesn´t start races



hi there,

so I m playing AC for PC since a Year and yesterday I tryed to start a race after a break since 2 month.

i used the Content manager as always and a say "go" and he imidediately say "race cancelled". i thought the content manager was broke and tryed the normal game but same problem. (orginal car and track, no mod) (all other mods = off)

i reinstalled the game...

AC dont work anymore pls help

Having issues getting my G29 to work with the Quest

Hi all.
I'm new to sim racing, and have been enjoying AC for the last few days on a TV, but I wanted to try using my Oculus Quest via virtual desktop. Everything works input wise on the TV, including the G29, wheel, pedals, and shifter, but when I load a session in VR, I get as far as sitting in the car with the left hand menu and the yellow mouse dot. I hit the steering wheel icon to start driving and the menu disappears as it should, but my controls do nothing.

AC dedicated server on Linux -- missing content/ ???

Hello,

I am trying to setup an AC dedicated server on Linux (Mint 18.3) I used the instructions found here which appeared to work simply enough. I was able to start a server via the command line './acServer' or by using AC Server Manager which I have also setup.

With a server up and running, I hop over to my Windows 10 system, fire-up AC, find my server on the LAN, connect and AC crashes every time...

After about version 1.40, the content Manager started displaying this error when running certain cars, especially older ones. On versions after the recommended one, the error was as follows: "Unexpected error"

I'm try to get a track on made in race track builder to work online. However when i find my server it just say sever contains unavailable content. However i know i have the track as it works in single player.

POOR FPS

Well guys, today assetto corsa surprised me with another problem.

Today my fps rate was 200 fps less than yesterday, why? I dont know but is bad, really bad.

Anyone have an idea of what is happening?

I tried reinstaling drivers on my nvidia card but no luck with that.

Pls, help.

Content Manager and SRS issue - Can't select cars, white boxes, no preview

Hi,
I have the following issue: After I click the register button no cars showing. Just white fields. Select button doesn't work. I tried the ingame AC SRS-app and it works there. I read SRS did an update.
Has anyone the same issue? Any solutions?
I want to use the Content Manager because VR user. CM is an amazing tool.
