Question about AI driver names in a championship

I started a new custom championship and after the second race I noticed that the entire field of AI drivers changed their names, such that, the winner of the first race didn't even exist in the second race (it was a totally new list of names) but somehow points were totaled up. It appears that the second list of drivers somehow accumulated points based on the car#? I'm not really sure.
Anyone have any insight into how the championship works?

Hello guys, one question ... I'm desperate right now!

Isn't there any possibility at AC to set Track conditions (Grip Level)
dynamically depending on the weather? I mean dynamic grip conditions?

I always ride in Heavy Rain on rails, regardless of the weather.

It can't be, can it? :thumbsdown:

I've worked with x4fab to add a new feature to the Custom Shaders Patch (as of 0.1.51) and the description is fairly brief so I thought it's worth going into a bit more detail about what this does.

AC Forcing VR mode - how to stop?

Hello Forum Members,

When I open AC in Steam, it always opens in Mixed Reality (VR) mode. Steam does not offer any options to open it in flat-screen mode vs. VR, as it typically does with other games.

How can I prevent or control this?

How much longer will mods be developed for Assetto Corsa?

What with Assetto Corsa Competizione on the horizon, how much longer will modders continue to develop and release content for Assetto Corsa? When I had Project Cars, I was late to the party and the modding had pretty much dried up when Project Cars 2 came out. I don't have the system to run Project Cars 2 or Assetto Corsa Competizione, so, will the summer see modding for Assetto Corsa begin to wind down? Are there things in development hell that we may never get to see?

Hi. For some strange reason, Assetto Corsas' default plugins doesn't display, even though they're active. I've tried everything, even reinstall the game, but nothing worked. Someone knows what happened?

Impossible to launch Asseto with Custom shader patch

Hello guys !

i have this error message after installing CSP:
Unexpected error:
custom shader "accCopy_vs.fxo is missing"

Line 109

Once installed i can't launch any races without have this error message.
I tried a lot of versions CSP, verify integrity data in Steam... still the same problem.
I looked everywhere, i found no solution.

Hey guys, I recently noticed Helicorsa was missing on my Taskbar and I could not start the app, even though it is installed and activated in CM. Same goes for Car Radar. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Before I started downloading mods, 99% of my time with Assetto Corsa was spent in Nordschleife Tourist. When I found out the tracks by Fat-Alfie, now they have become my favorite. Deutschlandring is amazing, so beautiful with so many different kind of bends, fast and slow sections and with great performance. Same can be said about Feldbergring, which is also absolutelly awesome. Fonteny is impressive too, especially considering it's incredibly long, with the only problem of the lack of...

Hi,

I recently upgraded my PC to be able to handle Assetto Corsa in VR (planning on playing Automobilista 2 as well).
However, it feels like I am playing a video game, not driving a realistic simulator.
The steering is too light and has to little feel. I was using a converter on my cable and lost feedback every 10 minutes.
So I bought the American plug in and the steering is lighter but it doesn't cut out (same specs).
Using a Thrustmaster TS-XW Sparco wheel. I will upgrade eventually...

My Controller detected as a steering wheel?

Now I got an even more bizarre glitch/bug.
when I'm in CM Control settings my controller is detected as a steering wheel, so I can only change the steering wheel layout. but when I'm in a session the game is using the controller layout and my controller works fine. so basically, my controller is detected as a steering wheel on the control settings but detected as a controller in a session. Also if I open the base game it doesn't detect any controller or steering wheel.

any idea what's...

Recently I've found my cars' headlights to often be not bright enough. I'm not sure yet if this is all cars or just some, but the problem is making some tracks difficult to drive at night. I didn't have this problem before - I noticed it in recent weeks only.

Can anyone help? Is there a setting in CSP or Sol config?
