Just got the game; few newbie questions.....

Hi guys,

I just got this game and have a few questions I can't seem to find out myself or find on the internet.
Shall I just sum them up?
- can I move the seat in the car forward, backwards etc?
- the H-shifter of the G27 is enabled, but still doesn't work. Buttons assigned and all; what am I doing wrong?
- I cant assign a button to the clutch (as I have no pedal for that) but the auto clutch is not my favourite; can I do something about that?
- I tried installing a downloaded mod; the...

Sound Modders Please Help

Hello all, I'm hoping the veteran sound modders can help me out. I've been working on a sound mod for a WIP mod with my friend, but I'm having trouble getting the sound I've created to work in-game.
Initially I was using FMod 1.10.x, and after some searching on the AC forums I noticed modders saying to use Fmod 1.08.10.

So I downloaded 1.08.10 from Fmod's website, opened a new project. I copied all of the parameters for each 3d event from the example project file provided by Kunos. I've...

How do you stop that dopey virtual gearstick waving backwards and forwards in the Alfa GTV? For a so called sim, to see the gearstick wag forwards then backwards like Harry Potters wand every gear change whether it be up or down, is making me laugh so much I can't concentrate on driving any more!

rFactor managed to simulate the gearstick moving through the gate properly, so either these guys should have got it right or not bothered.

If I can stop it from being viewable, I would be in with...

What is the wheel to buy?

I am using an older Fanatec CSR for open wheel cars. It's ok but it has got its limitations.

I am looking for a real good replacement with F1 style, real good FFB and highly compatible with PC and Assetto Corsa.

What is the best wheel to buy, what about a Thrustmaster TS-PC for instance or any wheel in that price range? It should fit a Playseat Evolution including pedals.

What do you recommend?

Help: FOV setup whilst using RHM

I have recently started using Real Head Motion as i read that it stops the looking down and up if you have lock to horizon enabled which is quite bad at a track like Bathurst... the RHM has sorted that brilliantly so thn i went on to tinkke with correct FOV (on triples) and used the in game app for that. but it never says what your FOV ends up being, and if i open the app to adjust seat it still says a FOV of around 55. and it cant be adjusted, well the numbers change but nothing happens. is...

AC wont pass........

Ac wont pass the load screen , the load icon just spins. I have verified integrity files all good . Ran PC cleaner and Virus scan , all good. Re started PC several times and no luck. If I run AC thru AC Content manager it works. Any ideas ?

Oculus Controller loss in car.

Okay so I'm working my way through my new Oculus rift and how to use it. After i start up AC the FFB is there when I go to options/controllers it shows up and all functions show as recognized.... Now as soon as I'm in car the wheel no longer responds at all. Turning it, press the pedals, nothing seems to work. Is there a fix? What am I doing wrong. Everything works like it should in DIRT Rally.

I've tried quite a few, but tend to like the lower powered cars. What are the choices for more modern ones?
I thought there were some payware ones that were really good as well. I wish they had the Skip Barber car, as its always been my favorite.

Lately I cant seem to win a race or get anywhere near winning. The AI blast off into the distance and theres no way I can catch them up or overtake? Whatever mod or car I drive. Begining to wonder if there is a problem with my wheel. I did a driver update recently?

Wheels lose their position when turning wheel 100% lock

So, i have had this problem for some time on my mod drift car, the wheels suddenly lose their placement and can turn inside-outside or how i should say this, like the inside of the wheel suddenly becomes outside and outside becomes the inside, in simple, the wheels(or just the other one, usually only the other wheel does this and the other remains in its right rotation angle), at the moment i cant think of a sentece that would explain this better
